Welcome to Stamford Indoor Tennis Club

As the area’s premier tennis facility, we offer an ideal environment for enjoying the sport of tennis to its fullest. With six climate-controlled indoor tennis courts, a player can make season court rentals, take private lessons, participate in adult clinics, along with junior Development and Academy programs throughout the year.

Our Academy program  differentiates us from any other tennis facility and makes us one of the most challenging training environments in the Northeast. Attracting players from points as far away as Hartford, CT and New York City, our training program consists of all aspects of competitive play, including technique, tactics, physical and mental skills. Our coaches follow a specific training plan, guiding players along an athletic discipline, which will allow them to realize their potential.

The Academy program, developed by John DeFilippo over 21 years ago, has been part of the Stamford Indoor curriculum for the 10 years he has been serving as Director of the club. Academy program participants have held over 800 tournament titles, 80 sectional championships, singles and doubles, 2 Gold Balls,  4 Silver Balls, 6 Bronze Balls, 7-Level 2 National Titles, 12 - Level 3 titles, 18 individual State high school champions and 8 sportsmanship awards.
