The Development Program has been designed to introduce the concepts of tennis to the kids with some, limited, or no tennis experience. The Developmental Program is comprised of three progressive levels. Our hope is that some of our students from this program will grow into our future tournament players while all will find enjoyment in playing the game of tennis for many years to come.
QUICKSTART
Quickstart Tennis is an exciting new play format for learning tennis. it is designed to bring younger players into the game by utilizing specialized equipment, shorter court dimensions and modified scoring. This program has been tailored to age and size.
Eligibility: Beginners or players with a very limited playing background. Day/Time: 5 & 6 yrs. Mon 3:30-4:30P or Fri 3:30-4:30P 7 & 8 yrs Mon 4:30-5:30P or Fri 3:30-4:30P Price: $1100- 30 Weeks - 9/9/2010-4/23/2011
Level 1
The Development 1 group is for players with very little or no tennis experience. Our focus with this group s on hand-eye coordination development, proper grips/stroke development and -- most important at this age -- growing their love for tennis.
Eligibility: Beginners or players with a very limited playing background. Day/Time: Mon 4:30-5:30P & Sat 12:00-1:00P or Fri 4:30-5:30p & Sat 12:00-1:00P Price: $2000 - 30 Weeks - 9/9/2010 - 4/23/2011
Level 2
The Development 2 group is for players with little playing experience. Our focus with this group is on hand-eye coordination development, introduction of live ball concepts and introduction to competition. Most important, at this age, our coaching staff will try to nurture and grow participants’ love for the sport of tennis.
